Hampson Park Coffee Shop


The coffee shop has it's own entrance and serves Barista coffees, teas, hot chocolate, cold drinks and a selection of cakes, light lunches, snacks and ice creams.
There are tables outside and a takeaway window.

We are open for
groups and private party hire. The office is open Monday-Friday 9.30-3.00pm for enquires.
The coffee shop is open and you can sit inside and outside or have takeaway.
Please help us protect staff and customers by not visiting if you are unwell.

Items For Sale


We have a selection of puzzles and books on sale in the lobby.
Books are 25p each and puzzles vary in price depending on size. We also sell children's books in right hand bookcase.
We welcome donation of good quality books or puzzles for resale
Food Bank
Your local Food Bank is the Foodshed
Our collection point for the food bank is just inside our main doors. Any donations please pop them in the white basket. There is a list posted just inside the main doors near the basket of what they are requiring, along with it posted on here.
Please donate when you can. Even if you only bought 1 item in it would count and help towards feeding a family in need. Thank you.


Lunch Club menu

Any bookings must be rung into the centre on 01438 354662 at least a day before, or no later than 10 am on day. Please leave a message on the answer phone, if out of office hours. Or come into centre and book Mon - Fri 9.30 - 15.00

If you have booked in for a meal and can not make it please ring in before 10 am on the day to cancel otherwise we will charge you £2.50 for the meal.

HALL HIRE
We can take bookings for private hire, either regular groups, one offs or to celebrate with a party.
The community centre halls are bright and have a flooring suitable for dance and other activities that need free movement yet are robust enough for a bouncy castle. Tables and chairs are supplied and are included in the cost of hire.
We take a returnable booking deposit for all private party hire which will secure your booking and is held against any damage. See conditions of hire.

PLEASE NOTE if you cancel your party with more than 11 working days, we will return your deposit less a 10% admin charge
If you cancel with 10 working days or less you will lose your deposit.
Hall hire charges will be refunded.

Hire of the rear hall includes use of the outside area.

This hall has a kitchenette.

Our Main Hall- The Kennedy Suite (9M x 13M)
This hall holds a 80 people, 60-80 seated. It has a high ceiling so is suitable for bouncy castles. There is a stage area to use for demonstrations. The main kitchen is next door and is linked with a serving hatch to allow you to prepare food and easily transfer it to your tables.
The hall can be hired during the day and evening for activities and party hire at weekends. Children's parties can be booked on some afternoons during school holidays.

Bouncy castle in the main hall must be under 11ft in hight (3.4m)
Rear Hall - Henry Hall (5.6M by 12M, 3M ceiling)
The rear hall holds 40 people, 30 seated. The rear hall looks over the park and has a fenced in outside space. This has the same flooring as the main hall so is suitable for dance classes. There is a small kitchenette suitable for making basic refreshments. The ceiling is lower than the main hall but is still suitable for smaller bouncy castles. The hall can be hired as a whole for party hire and classes or can be divided to allow two smaller groups to go on at the same time.
Whole Rear hall is 5.6M by 12M
When divided:
Rear hall 1 is 5.6M by 7.5M and has the kitchenette so great for social meetings where refreshments are required.
Rear hall 2 is 5.6M by 4.5M Ideal for a small meeting.
The Kitchen
The kitchen is linked to the main hall. It is fully functional and can be hired out for parties and social functions. The cost of party hire in the main hall includes the use of the kitchen. As it is used for cooking our lunches, it is not available during the weekdays from 09.30 - 14.00.
Important note
As this is a commercial kitchen, hygiene rules must be followed. Details will be supplied and MUST be adhered to. If the kitchen is not left in the correct condition all your deposit will be kept.

Deposits
All private hall bookings require returnable deposit starting at £50 for children's parties.
Family parties: A returnable deposit of £100 (no alcohol) or £150 (alcohol) is taken on booking. This is refundable if the function is cancelled within 2 weeks of the booked date, less a 10% admin charge. (Sorry NO 16th to21st parties) special conditions including a £2.50 deposit apply. All deposits are to be paid either by cash or bank transfer (NO card payments) and they will be refunded the way they were paid and only to the original payer.

Important
All hall payments must be paid no later than 2 weeks before your party date. We DO NOT TAKE payments on the day (if your party hasn't been paid for by your party date it can not go ahead and you will lose your deposit)
