A exercise group for people with Parkinson's

Calm the Mind Yoga 

Group runs on a Thursday evening 19.00 - 20.00. Hatha Inspired Yoga with Hayley. A Slow yoga practice, based on the traditional original style of Indian Yoga run on alternate weeks with Kevin's, Candle Lit Yin Yoga Classes. Yin/ Restorative Yoga, deep relaxation through long, gentle poses, release stress and melt away tension.

Friendship Hobby Craft
Small group runs on Friday 14.00 – 16.00. Time to socialise with others in the group along with what ever project your working on. Share your knowledge about a different craft, or learn something new. Most of all make new friends why you do something you enjoy. So do come along if interested. 

Herts Mobilisation in partnership by age UK, Carers in Herts & Alzheimer's Society. Together Group Stevenage - runs on a Tuesday & Thursday at 13.30 -15.30. This group is for people living with dementia or those worried about their memory, to come along with a family member, close friend or carer. Positive Movement 

Starting on Wednesday 14th January at 15.30 - 17.00. A group for over 60's with a mobility problem or who are living with a long term condition. Tutors' are highly experienced yoga teachers. Pilates 
The Core Stability Muscles of our body help support the spine. These muscles are the abdominals, back muscles, pelvic floor and diaphragm. This system of muscles helps support the spine dynamically and gives our limbs a support from which to move. These are the target muscles for Pilates.
Class Monday 7.30-8.30pm , Tuesday 8-9pm and Wednesday 10.00-11.00 am,  suitable for men and women.

Senior Chair Keep Fit    

Gently exercise designed to use all the muscle groups to help keep you moving it also helps with co-ordination and is a good social activity. This class is excellent exercise for older, less mobile people or for disabled people.  Most of the exercises can be done sitting down or in a wheelchair.  The class is good fun as well as good for you.
